Tinyplots
From Crossroads Wiki
TinyPlots are the heart of activity on the game, and can be defined as short- or long-term plans that players can RP as a part of. On Crossroads we STRONGLY encourage player-run TPs, both small and large in scope. In order to facilitate everyone's ideas being played out on the grid, we have a few procedures and resources in place. These are the TP Coordinators and the GM Faction.
TP Coordinators
The TP Coordinators are around to ensure that larger player-run events both fit the theme and do not stumble one over another. As such, any TP that a player wants to run that is more than a one-night, non-grid-changing event, we ask to have submitted to the TP Coordinators with the +tp command. They do not *approve* plots, just keep a train-wreck from happening, check to make certain plots are consistent, and make sure that information is passed to relevant faction heads for IC events. The criteria for determining what should be submitted via the +tp command are listed under TP Submission Details, but clearly we do not expect everything that is a plot on grid to have to be submitted there. Please read them if you're planning on running a TP!
Current TP Coordinators are:
- Squall
- Tempest
For more information on them see the Tp coordinator Job Description.
GM Faction
The GM Faction is a collection of people that just love to create RP for others with various alts. If that's you, then please ask to be added to the faction! The best part? If you aren't ready to step into the GM world, but you would love to have something played for your character, something done to surprise a friend of yours, or just have a great idea in mind, then this is also the faction for you. You can create a +gmticket and submit your request. All GM faction members can then see the request, one can claim it, have it played for you, and then we see what the shake down from it will entail.
For those who join, they can both see and add to a list of tickets, suggestions for scenes. involved in running smaller events on grid, and people who want something run can submit a +gmticket (+help +ticket, and the faction is GM) to the faction to have someone claim it and manage a scene. If you wish some privacy around a ticket, @mail any of the TP Coordinators for with specific anonymous TP requests. One of them will set up the +gmticket and the person that claims the ticket will be notified after claiming exactly who submitted the ticket.
This is a fantastic way to get everyone involved in various aspects of the game especially the giving and receiving of RP. Newbies, this is particularly good in letting us know what you're looking for in Crossroads and hopefully be able to provide some of those specifics. Any questions can be directed toward the TP Coordinators!
