Background
Born into the Crestwood family, Timothy studied the stars from a young age. His tutor was from the Barony of Destine and he used that knowledge to become one of the first Navigators sent out on ships. His twin sister Amalia, older by five minutes, became a skilled Healer, and when their parents passed, she took the reins of the Lordship. During his travels, Timothy was grievously wounded and those wounds became infected.. his sister nursed him back to health. Since then, he has continued his career as a sailor, becoming the captain of his own ship. Most of his travels have been to and from Landry, assisting with the rebuilding by making runs of supplies and experts from Draught to the Imperial Colony established there. Ever since being injured, he has studied self-defense intensively. Typical of a sailor, Timothy has a bit of a reputation of a lady's man. His return to Gateway is precipitated by an unexpected loss in the family.

Relationships
- Timothy is the twin brother of former Lady Healer's Hall
- Timothy's uncle is the rather notorious Imperial Healer
- Timothy was allegedly Courting Master Healer Aithne for a while, right up until she died.
- Timothy has become friends with Elspeth Toet after their run in with the demon-shark/devilfish/sea monster. Rumour has it he's trying to take care of her as much as she will permit and then some. Their relationship appears to be more like a father/daughter closeness than anything else.
- Timothy is also known to be friendly with several of the Healers who work in the Infirmary, possibly from his time spent there, in particular Healer Paggion and Healer Morien.
- Seen occasionally with Timothy on the ship The Tarnished Chalice, and about the Village, is Lady Renata Sendai. Their association is peculiar at best, yet they seem very amiable toward one another. Their discussions are often lengthy and quite heated in places.
Trivia
- Timothy is known to prefer cutlass and dagger in combat, though he is also a fair shot with a crossbow.
- Not at all well known is Timothy's quiet hobby: poetry. It seems the sea and the stars have given him a reflective nature that he's learned to tame into words on paper. His form is very traditional and structured. Some samples are hidden here. One event which highlighted this was Lady Ravelle Soranus' birthday.
The Tarnished Chalice
Timothy's ship is a two masted 80' vessel with a crew of about 30. Four levels of deck, include a raised aft deck, the main deck, a deck for crew and passengers and the cargo hold. It can take a maximum of five passengers unless alternate sleeping arrangements are handled (Captain sleeping in the Crew Quarters, for example). The masts are made from pine and the hull is made from oak. It flies the Flag of Healer's Hall, Draught and the Gateway Empire. It looks a bit like this, but with a raised aft deck on the stern and a modified boom to adjust for that:

Timothy's Playlist
The Water Is Wide - Karla Bonoff -
The song that he hears when he thinks of Aithne Corbaine, the love he lost.
Last Time by Moonlight - Enya -
This one is for Renata. She wanted and deserved one. And it's appropriate.
Drowsy Maggie/Rakish Paddy - Folk Song -
This is the type of music that Timothy really enjoys - he's been known to dance jigs to this kind of tune, though he's hardly expert at such things!
The Rambling Pitchfork - Folk Song -
Here's another example of the kind of jig that gets Timothy dancing.
Sittin' on the dock of the Bay - A cover of Otis Redding -
This song isn't really thematic, but it's how I see Timothy sometimes, especially when he's composing poetry: very relaxed.
Drive - The Cars -
Another one that's unthematic, but the lyrics seem to apply directly to Timothy's relationship with Elspeth Toet: thanks for driving me home, kiddo.
The Tango - It's a dance -
I'm not going to try explaining this one.
Drunken Sailor - Irish Drinking Songs -
It's about time I put this one up.
Amazing Grace - Acappella -
For the one who tried to save Timothy and ended up paying the ultimate price elsewhere: she will be missed.
Spanish Ladies - Porter and Stout -
This is the kind of song the Crew sings when they are setting sail.
Bad Day - Daniel Powter -
Timothy has had a few of these lately.
