Scope

This is an infobox for all persons on Crossroads. Based on the wikipedia template Infobox British Royalty with extra hacks to make it work well.

Usage

Colors

I've set stuff for imperial, draught, gf, guardian, mists. The default (no selection) is shown here on the right. If you want me to add or change any color schemes, let me know.

title v succession

First off, only use one of them. Which you use depends if the character is the primary holder of the heredity title. e.g. Eadric Conway and Aileana Ashlan are primary holders of the duchy title while Nell and Finn, while we all love them, are not.

Eadric and Aileana will use "succession" while Nell and Finn would use "title".

There are exceptions, especially if you are, oh, say, the Empress. Those with non-hereditary, but special titles, e.g. First Knight, are welcome to use "succession" also.

Redundancy

• "issue" v "offspring": I think "issue" is the one wikipedia prefers since it has all those extra bits to it.
• "styles" v "titles": wikipedia says "titles" is discouraged so I guess use "styles"

title/succession v styles/titles

title/succession is the primary/key position that the person holds, you also want it short and sweet.

styles/titles is where you crazy and cram everything in.

Background and Biographical Information bars

If you don't have anything filled in for "species" to "hair", the bar that says Biographical Information will not show up. Similarly applies to the bar that says Background though that runs from "spouse" to "occupation".

See User:Raynn to see that there is no "Background" bar, only "Biographical Information"

Birth, Death, and Age

Use Template:BDA.
