When I first started my life, I had always had an interest in all things mechanical. I suppose I could blame it on my Draughtan blood, but I've always been the adventurous sort, searching through the inner-working of the massive clock towers or watching those that served my parents at their work. I was there when my dear sister was injured in that horrific explosion - she was the one that shielded me from the blast. I have held a debt of gratitude ever since, and serve her as chamberlain gladly.
But that doesn't stop me from living my own life. Some say I'm quite the charmer, with a silken tongue and heart to match - myself? I just know where I stand in life and look to live it to the best of my abilities. If life takes my heart to the fair maiden, then I suppose I'll just be tagging along. But any woman with an interest will have to win over my sister. And she's a lot more protective than I.

Miscellaneous
Samuel is a mechanical tinkerer, mainly with items of clockwork and small machinery. Currently, with some help from a mage, he is working on a special gift for the Imperial Children.
Samuel Lancaster died on June 29, 505 A.G. in an explosion due to an experiment gone wrong.
