Rosy is the oldest of four siblings. She has two sisters and one brother. She is also the heir of Banshee's Shriek. Her sister is the spare heir. The Vervoer children lost their mother days after birthing a long and awaited son. Hence the only boy in the family has never known his mother. He's known the care of his sisters at times but otherwise has been raised by caretakers as his family in general were to busy working on their own magic to pay him much mind.
Rosy's two sisters are fourteen and eleven, lovely in beauty and studious in their work and training. Their father was of a more recent loss having died in a failed experiment. Rosy in particular doesn't talk much of her father and what kind of experiment he failed in. But being from Banshee's Shriek, anything goes.
There are rumors of ghosts being in the woods and that the sound of the wind is of a banshee hence the name of the landhold. Rosy's siblings were left behind under the care of a caretaker continueing with their studies in Mists. Being the oldest and having to come up with hard decisions she thought it best that they remain in something familar after the loss of both parents.
Rosy went onward to Gateway in hopes of continueing her own education, learn more about the court scene and see what else life would bring her. Even for being a recent arrival to Gateway she seems to enjoy spending a lot of time with the Windermere brothers, especially the young Lord Joachim.

- Attaining her lordship at the tender age of 16, Roslyn is one of the youngest leaders on Mists.

- 504: Roslyn inherits the lordship after the untimely passing of her father in a strange experiment. Shortly thereafter she comes to Gateway.
- 507: Roslyn goes missing the night of the Double Eclipse and, after months with no sign of her, is presumed dead.
