Phoebe Forester is called the Ice Princess. A frigid, frosty woman with a quick wit and a sharp tongue often provoking ire out of anyone she encounters. Many know her as cold and lacking compassion for her surroundings. Only a select few ever speak of anything but the icy venom that exudes from her lips, leaving many to wonder if there is anything else to her.

Phoebe Forester was born on Green Fields and grew up a lady of Emerald Hollow. Though few consider it likely, she may well have remained just that all her days, save for the fact that in 502 it came out that she -- like those born on Mists -- could manipulate magic. She swore fealty to the isle of Mists and its then-regent, Raziel Devonshire, to become a lady of that isle. For a time, she served as Baroness Regent Dragon Lake; after the accident that killed the ruling family of Crescent Coast, she was given that barony for her own. She once was married to a merchant on Green Fields, Lyle Rodric, until he died. Though arrested for his murder, she was acquitted of all charges. For a time, she was involved with Trahearn Conway. But he died. She was betrothed, too, to Garett Lytton of Knife's Edge on Guardians, but he had the misfortune of passing away while defending her. and now? She's wed to Matthew Wyndham, an investigator and, by marriage, Baron Crescent Coast. There are those who wager this is the one who'll last, but they're betting against the house. |

Some whisper that the Foresters are a dangerous, close-knit clan that should not be crossed. There are tales that circulate among the elite and the common folk, tales of wonder and intrigue at how the simple Baronial family of Green Fields has claimed titles such as Duke of Green Fields, Baroness of Mists, and Empress of the Gateway Isles. While rumours abound on all levels, one thing is certain; the Forester family is a very well known name.
