| History
The Lordship is in holding by the Stevens family, who was raised to power with in April 506. The Silenus family was silently dismissed from their stations by the Baroness. It was never truly brought to light why the previous family was removed from the seat of the lordship, their name stricken from the records, as it was all done rather swiftly by the Baroness at the time. Though the people do whisper about some very peculiar things between the two brothers of that family...

| Politics
Politics is a heavy subject in Omenal. It so closely borders Ethos that it strives for the balance between separation of Purism and as the same time an understanding of it. As well, it has recently suffered the backlashes of the gypsy culture that was once part of the land, but has been disbanded and destroyed in recent years. With the sudden disappearance of the Baroness Isolde Lieberman in the year 507, much was left up in the air politically, as she was always a force in such dealings. Many months passed before the Duke and Duchess placed Chase Stevens as regent over the land.

| Geography
Located on the Southeastern side of Draught it was once the largest Lordship within Draught and the western of the lordships of Destine. The Lordship of Omenal was also first and foremost the port city of Draught. It is this lordship that the currents deposit the travelers and here that revelry takes place, or did. In October of 508. tragedy struck Omenal. The large earthquake that caused the loss of so much land hit Omenal hard, even taking the large city of Port Omenal with it. As it is still the lordship that the currents empty near, there are already plans for rebuilding in the works.
There are a lot of low, rolling hills in Omenal that give it that perfect soil for growing herbs and spices, and there are many plantations within the lordship's borders that provide such for the Empire.

| Economy
Once the most thriving lordship of Destine, after the earthquake and subsequent loss of the main port in October of 508, Omenal has suffered a great deal. With its main source of income literally falling into the sea, the lordship is now, and shall continue to struggle to find its foothold once more. Rebuilding the port is the first step, certainly. Until then, is relies on the monies that come in from the spice plantations, and the tax breaks and relief funds that are granted by the Emperor in this time of rebuilding.

| Culture
As gypsies were once a strong part of the culture of Omenal, and they are no longer among the population, even the culture of the people of this lordship is in flux. With Purists on one side in Ethos, and Moria on the other, it is of some interest to see how the people of Omenal redefine themselves after both the major loss of land, and the loss of culture from the gypsy removal.
Its own culture of commerce finds itself threatened with the loss of its commercial center. Will that idealistic view of capitalism survive with the pull from objective science on the one side and Orthodox Providential Dogma on the other?
Religion
Like most of the rest of the Empire, the people of Omenal have belief in Providence, even if it is not practiced like it is within Ethos to the west. Religion is not a deep part of everyday life of the people in the lordship, but it is not something they completely disregard, either.
