Greasy hair, a crooked nose, constant scowl and beady eyes add to the creep factor of the Apothecary. Master Ortberg is one of those people that likes to keep everything about himself mysterious with the exception of how brilliantly intelligent he happens to be. He definitely thinks he is above everyone else as far as intellectual studies. He tends to leave bottles of potions or ingredients unmarked just to show off how adept he is in his potion creation. In the end, he really is as good as he claims at his chosen profession even if his people skills are non-existent.
