Relationships

Lazuli Montaigu - An old, close friend from their shared time at the Academy of Imperius, they exchanged letters for some time before the friendship faded into obscurity.

Kyrie Mezelien - Whom better to go to for help in tracking down demon-worshipping cultists then a Mezelien? Nathan and the Lady Kyrie have had some dealings in the past, the entire nature of them somewhat unclear.

Citrine Montaigu - Younger sibling to his friend Lazuli, Nathan was left with this young girl and her twin brother to replace the elder Montaigu when she left the Academy. He kept some relationship with them during his last few years before disappearing into the background noise of the Isle.

Larimar Montaigu - Lesser known to Nathan than his twin sister, Nathan knew the young man as a boy during their time at the Academy of Imperius.

Events

February, 506 A.G. - The Magisterium arrives in Imperial capital

Under uncertain circumstances, Nathaniel Valeris is dispatched to Gateway Isle. His garb and appearance draw some second glances as he makes his presence known to the Duke of Mists; some say the man hides himself behind a metal mask because of some deformity, or that he is not entirely human. Present for only a short while, he returns with no fanfare to the Isle of Mists.

April, 506 A.G. - Nathan returns to Gateway Isle

One of the last ships to arrive from Mists in the month carries with it a man whom goes by the same moniker as the masked mage, though he now wears clothes more befitting a gentleman, of sorts, most conspicuous for the lack of the mask he was said to wear.
