Information
Mercy is the fifth born of six children that were born to an unlanded noble family, Stevens. His father was a merchant within the ports of Destine in the home of Omenal. His was the life of keeping track of records and books. His mother had a very political mind.
The Silenus family was stripped from power in 504 for unknown public reasons. It was then that Isabella managed to wrangle her son into a regency. In 506, the Regency was given to him as an actual Lordship for his hard work and maintenance. It was then that his family was pushed into the spotlight.
Personality
Hedonist and searching for the party in life. Mercy cares about Mercy. She doesn't care who rules or who falls. She will of course use her cunning to cover her tracks and to show public respect to those of higher station. In her world, it is all about Mercy. She only cares to have the best of everything and to be the winner. Life is a grand party and she is the one needed to make it worthwhile.
Family
Chase Stevens - Oldest brother and land holder. Mercy loves Chase, that isn't really in question; she just doesn't agree with him. She has no qualms about spending his money or using his influence to her benefit, yet she does not enjoy his habit of trying to make her 'proper'. She thinks she is a proper who she is.
Ashley Stevens - Older sister, chamberlain. The good one. Mercy has spent her whole life listening to people compare her to Ashley. Why can't she be as respectful as her sister? Why can't she manage her money better? There is a minor bit of jealousy on Mercy's part for this. She thinks if there is a limelight in this family, it should be directed on her alone. She does love her sister, but it doesn't stop her from pulling pranks that might make her look a bit more tarnished.
Edwin Stevens - Older brother, navigator. Mercy loves Edwin just as much as all her family. She enjoys his sense of adventure and that when he leaves places, he gets her trinkets. She does desire to travel with him, should he get out of barrier and if she can have a cabin of her own on the ship.
Paul Stevens - Older brother, playboy. Mercy loves everything that Paul is. He's her other half. They get into and out of trouble with each other almost as much as most people breathe. In truth, she'd be a bit lost without him to come and share her conspiracies and secrets with. He's her best friend.
Penelope Stevens - Her baby sister. Mercy loves Penny with a protective streak a mile long (although she doesn't always admit to it). She however is the bad influence on her sister's life. She thinks the girl should have more fun. She has a lifetime to be old and only a short time to be young.
