Born and raised in Pyria, Ivona went to the College of Science to become an herbalist. There, she made friends with Dion Sendai and they became the best of friends. She devoted herself to her studies and showed much promise, even having the potential to surpass her mother. When she became a Journeyman, Dion's private herbalist took her on to train as a replacement for herself when the time came.
