Inactivity

Crossroads MUSH admin periodically purge inactive characters from the system, or for some characters, make them available for others to play. This process is done manually, and the key to avoid losing a character you wish to play is communication with the admin about planned inactivity.

The policies below represent criteria used by the admin when determining whether to purge or reassign a character:

• Characters which have only logged into the game once may be purged after 14 days of inactivity.
• Feature characters may be made available for others to play after 30 days of inactivity.
• Non-Feature characters inactive for more than 45 days may be made available for others to play if requested.
• Characters may be purged if inactive for more than 60 days.

If you know you will be absent from the game for an extended period, please submit a +ticket to admin explaining your planned absence and requesting a vacation flag.

If you know you no longer wish to play a character, please go through your inventory and objects you may own (@search me) and dispose of these items. You may, optionally, set a &NUKE_OK attribute on your character.
