[edit] Recent History

After the untimely death of Lord Pyrphoros Sendai, Dion Sendai has assumed the Lordship of Pyria, assisted by his younger sisters Yilana and Renata.

After the death of Lord Ister Sendai, Pyrphoros Sendai has assumed the Lordship of Pyria and been fighting for the welfare and prosperity of his homeland.

After the Assassination of Lord Stanford Durante, former Lord of Pyria, the Lordship of Pyria has been in flux. It was not until late June of 505 A.G. has Lord Pyrphoros been able to massage the appointment of his father as Lord of Pyria. Since then House Sendai has taken roots in Pyria, although some members of the family are scattered around the Empire, such as Lord Pyrphoros himself who has taken up residence in Gateway.

Prior to becoming Lord of Pyria, both Lord Ister and his late wife have held appointments at the College of Science in Miller's Isle.

[edit] Relations

House Sendai is known to have close connections to their liege, previously Catelyn Claremont and currently Dorian Claremont, especially given the previous lack of baronial management.

Several members of the Sendai family are prominent scholars in various fields of science and engineering. After ascending to lordship, the ties with the College of Science is especially close.

While the Sendai family had several prominent political enemies at home in Pyria, they have been eliminated after the purge in Autumn 506 A.G. To the average Pyrian, the Sendai family is quite popular due to policies and measurements that have led to development and growth in Pyria.
