As long as the isle of Draught has existed, the Paggion Family has been charged with the safekeeping of the barony in Amphorae upon it. For over 400 years, they remained a commodity nearly exclusive to Draught and the ennobled House Paggion flourished.
Then, in September of 507, Marek Paggion -- a commonborn relation upon Draught -- was formally raised to a lord of Gateway, thus marking the beginning of House Paggion of Gateway.

- Baroness Amphorae is betrothed to Kevin Mathis Cardiff, a citizen of Amphorae.

- Khalani's betrothal is dissolved.
- September 8, 507
- Marek is raised up as one of the first Lords of Gateway by Imperial decree, and bestowed with the added position of Imperial Venator, charged with handling Imperial matters all over the Empire.
- July 1, 508
- Khalani Paggion weds Dorian Claremont, becoming formally entitled as Duchess Draught.

| Blue for loyalty, purple for justice, gold for generosity. Crescent for the second son of Gaius Paggion. The griffin marks courage and boldness, denoting strength and leadership, as well as the necessity for one to combine intelligence and strength. In segreant and set towards the crescent, it also marks reaching for lofty goals.
