Information
Edwin is the third born of six children that were born to an unlanded noble family, Stevens. His father was a merchant within the ports of Destine in the home of Omenal. His was the life of keeping track of records and books. His mother had a very political mind and it is perhaps one of the reasons that Edwin does not have a taste for it.
The Silenus family was stripped from power in 504 for unknown public reasons. It was then that Isabella managed to wrangle her son into a regency. In 506, the Regency was given to him as an actual Lordship for his hard work and maintenance. It was then that his family was pushed into the spotlight.
Personality
Edwin is a charming enough guy, but he has lived completely in his older brother's shadow. He is the middle child and that allows for a bit of under currents. He is closer to his younger brother, Paul. Edwin suffers from wanderlust of the worst kind. It is his goal to create the navigational maps of all the areas out of the barrier.
Family
Chase Stevens - Born first and thus the land holder. Chase excelled at most things he did. It got him a lot of their parents attentions. In fact, more than that it got him more attention then Edwin thought needed. The fact that it was Chase that got their family the lordship is not lost on Edwin's nerves. He would not wish really to see his brother harmed, at least he doesn't think so, he'd just want for the light to be cast away from him.
Ashley Stevens - He scares her. He knows it. There was a time in distant history that he held her against the wall and promised her pain if she ever tried to make him into a trained dog. It was that episode that made Edwin leave the first time. He finds it easier to just leave. The sea does not disappoint like family.
Paul Stevens - His younger brother is perhaps the family secret keeper. He's just so laid back that it is hard not to tell him everything that is going wrong in life. Edwin goes to Paul when he's thinking of doing something stupid. His brother either talks him out of it or he helps him get it done.
Mercy Stevens - She's a royal bitch, minus the royal. He loves her, but sweet Providence is she high maintenance. Edwin is hoping to find her a husband and get her to leech off of them for awhile. She keeps pestering him to go out of barrier or something, he's trying to avoid telling her no. He finds if he distracts her with gifts it works wonders.
Penelope Stevens - She is his youngest sibling and everything that is still right in the world. Every time the darkness threatens to take him over, he spends time with her. There is just something refreshing about her outlook on life and the way she feels about things.
