His Story
He was born on the only noted Double Eclipse that was delayed. He is sure to grow up thinking himself important in that way. He was also born to two very influential families: Claremonts and Barcas. Demi was born first in a set of twins, and is very obviously the more robust of the two. His mother was going to name him something else, but it was Philip that persuaded her away. Instead his moniker came from his father instead of his mother; a fact he will tell anyone who will listen.
While still young, his story is that primarily of his parents. So his is not a tale of fairies and happily ever after. The two were raised as best friends until they crumbled under the weight of politics and adult relationships. It is why his parents are not married and why his father never visits. Mother tells him that he used to visit when he was little but he got very busy. It leaves Demi wondering why court is so important and not him. He almost has a shrine to Philip devoted with everything that has his name on it (even if the person is not him). When he sees his father in public, he always tries to greet him, but is not allowed. He then has to go out and have that exact outfit.
Demi, along with his twin, were kidnapped when they were still infants. Because of this fact they are almost surrounded with guards at any given time. As well, their mother does not allow most people to see them or play with them. There is the promise of playing with the Imperial children, but it hasn't happened yet.
Personality
He is loud and expressive, unlike his sister. Dem, also seems to talk without shutting up, ever. He is always making friends and asking questions. His current question of choice is why. He asks it whenever he can. Why does he have to take a bath? Why does he need to be clean? Why does Daddy not come around? Why does Momma not want to talk about it? Why does Sephie always act funny? Why can't he have a dog?
