My name is Darien Adrian Sanguine Riahnis and I am the first born to Adrian and Heather Riahnis. I was raised in Silvervine in Wildvines part of Burgundy Terrace on the isle of Green Fields.
Adrian and Heather were hard workers, they worked at a vineyard that was known for the production of rose wine, Grapes Wrath. I loved even at a young age to be outside helping them in the fields. Most of all I did enjoy being around the horses and other animals.
When I was seven years old my mom gave birth to my sister Kara. I got to help watch her at times which was fun but as I grew older I was gaining the ability to read and write, and learning how to make wine because it was to be one day I'd take over for my father.
Around the time I was ten an Uncle decided to visit. He is mom's younger brother and was called Vincent. I loved hearing his stories about his time living on Guardian. When I wasn't working the fields or study he would teach me how to shoot a bow and arrow and even take me hunting with him.
Uncle Vincent decided to live in Wildvines so he even taught me the way of the sword. My mom of course was worried I would get hurt but I rather enjoyed being able to protect myself if needed. When I turned fourteen I got to protect my family from would be robbers scaring them off with my bow, it was only a few days later my mom gave birth to my youngest sister Valissa.
I helped to teach Kara about the way of the wine making world. I did help her with reading and writing as well when she needed it. Really I became protective of her and my baby sister.
Growing still I did continue my work in the fields but always kept up training with my bow and also my sword work. When I was nineteen I met a seventeen year old girl named Cassie while I was out hunting. She rather lost so I helped her find her way home. I didn't see her again until the Harvest Festival that year.
A relationship wasn't something I was looking for but from that moment I started to court Cassie. We married when I was twenty-six and over a year later she gave birth to our son Lathan. About five years later she gave birth to our twins Bradin and Braxton.
Cassie always loved working in flower gardens to make places look beautiful. She applied for work out in Gateway, so with the blessings of my family at the age of thirty-four we moved so my wife can work with the gardeners at the castle.
I got work as a City Guardsman. The work is rather fun and everyday is a new adventure. In what free time I have, I ride my horse, spend time with my boys or teach others Archery or Swordwork.
