Ashley is the second born of six children that were born to a merchantry family, Stevens. Her father was a merchant within the ports of Destine in the home of Omenal. His was the life of keeping track of records and books. Her mother had a very political mind and it is perhaps her pushing that puts her where she currently sits.
The Silenus family was stripped from power in 504 for unknown public reasons. It was then that Isabella managed to wrangle her son into a regency. In 506, the Regency was given to him as an actual Lordship for his hard work and maintenance. It was then that Ashley stepped in to assist her brother as his Chamberlain.
When her brother was elevated to Baron Regent Destine, she took the reigns of Omenal in his stead.

Analytical by personality, she is one of those people that think everything is a puzzle and it is her job to solve it. She sometimes sees connections where other people miss. While she works for her brother, her life is not defined by him. She is a bit obsessive and tends to think things have their proper place, occasionally she comes off a bit too critical of other; although it is not her intent.

Chase Stevens - Her older brother, land holder. Ashley and Chase are two peas in a pod. She respects her brother and in that she trusts his judgments. She is happy to assist where she can and has been given the great honor of being his chamberlain.
Edwin Stevens(Missing, Presumed Dead) - With Edwin she can't quite forget the burning anger of resentment that coats his dealings with his older two siblings. Perhaps because she is one of them. She feels his anger the strongest towards Chase, though he tries to hide it. She must admit that she feels a bit relieved when wanderlust takes him somewhere else.
Paul Stevens(Dead) - Paul is nothing if not aggravating. She can yell until she's blue in the face and he'll still put on a suave smile and do as he pleases. She's cut off his finances, just to see him swindle it out of someone else. He's stopped people from serving him only to see him hanging out on the docks. And the women. She just won't touch the women. There are many and she's just made him promise not to father any children. He constantly causes a headache, even if she does love him.
Mercy Stevens(Dead) - Well she's the female version of Paul. She's not as loose with some things as he is, but the fact of the matter is that she thinks of only herself. She's spoiled and she just doesn't care so much about Ashley's thoughts. In fact, she seems to enjoy creating scandal that makes Ashley look bad.
Penelope Stevens - Her bright star in the dead of the night. She adores her youngest sister as if she was her very own child. She is constantly making sure her studies are done, that she ate, what she did in the day and so forth. It seems as if all her free time is taking care of her little Penny. She refuses to see the young girl has grown into a woman.
