History
As the oldest of five children, Anne was 'supposed' to be a boy, hence her middle name. Although her mother treated her like a girl, her father treated her no different than the son he was expecting - even to calling her 'Tom' or 'Thomas' instead of Anne. So Anne grew up half thinking that she was, indeed, a boy and was always always getting into mischief here and there. It wasn't until she was ten years old that her parents had additional children; three more girls in rapid succession, followed most recently by her only brother who is nearly one year old now.
With her always poking her nose into things, Anne's parents finally determined to send her to Gateway to see what sort of fortune she can make for herself. And, perhaps, to keep her from causing any more destruction at home.

Trivia
- Having caused enough injuries to herself over the years, Anne is quite well versed in first aid. Although not quite as skilled as even a healer in this area, she can nevertheless handle minor wounds with relative ease, for the most part. Major wounds, she can probably deal with just enough so that at least a person doesn't die before they can get to a healer.
- Anne would much rather be called Thomas, though very few in Gateway actually call her that.
- As a result of an accident, she only has 9 toes - her right pinky toe being missing.
- Her parents share the exact same birthdate, an oddity that brought them together in the first place.
