Family History
Alessaundra is the second cousin of the previous landholder, descended from the brother of Cassandra's landholding grandfather. Until recently, Lessa has been entirely unaware of any noble familial connections, giving her parents' reluctance to divulge any information about her father's father. It is unknown precisely why, but Lessa's great-grandfather disowned her grandfather and forbade all mention of him, going so far as to strike his name from any and all records. Very recently, the family connection was discovered and brought to the Brune family's attention.
History
Lessa was born and raised in Midnight Lagoon, and grew up playing near the water's shores. When it came time to be educated, she attended the Academy. Her life was essentially consumed by her studies until she achieved her mastery in water magic. About seven years ago, her father died, and two years later, her mother followed, leaving Lessa and her two younger siblings their childhood home. While they were never rich, her family was never poor, either, all of her siblings having received a strong education. In the intervening time, she has developed a few other interests, though she has been primarily focused on studying. After receiving her mastery, she returned home to her family to try to figure out what she was going to do with herself until she was ready to resume her studies. It was at this point that she was approached by Baron Moonshadow and informed that she was heir to the Lordship of Midnight Lagoon.
