Some women were meant to be leading leadies-- others were meant to be accessories. Adora is the latter. Though she's not the brightest lantern in the window, she tries very hard to be the best that she can be with what she was given. It's not that she's stupid-- it's just that she's not very smart.

She grew up in a poorer part of Polaris Point with her grandfather. Both of her parents were levitation mages who died prematurely due to... accidents of their studies. Her grandfather doted on his only remaining kin but it was in late 504 that he passed away, leaving Fantine with only a little money and no family. She has come to the Gateway to try and find work, desperate to find her place in this world.

In early 505, Neaira gave her a job as a prostitute at the Grinning Guardian where she...ah... served her clients with verve but the luster of the money she could make if she were eager began to wear off and soon the bruises began to outweigh the coins. In a moment of desperation, she authored a letter to Lydia Rose, the verbage broken and misspelled as she only had early years of reading, long unused, to go on. It ended with a desperate plea for help.

Madame Lydia Rose took pity on her and interviewed her in January of 506. She is now a courtesan in training at the House of Blushing Petals.

On June 17, 506, she died of pneumonia.
